Search Dog Foundation is deploying six canine disaster search teams to assist with the recent devastation.

The task force will be composed of approximately 72 personnel, including urban search and rescue dogs, and some 75 tons of rescue equipment.

Japan Cat Network, HEART-Tokushima, and Animal Friends Niigata raising funds for the helpless animals. have combined forces to focus information, rescue and support for animals in crisis due to the March 11 Earthquake and Tsunami in northern Japan.
